The Studio, a cosy field view retreat in the heart of the Shropshire countryside. Perfect for couples, we offer free Wi-Fi, parking, a Smart TV with Netflix, & a fully equipped kitchen.
The open-plan living area includes a sofa bed, dining space, and access to a private balcony and enclosed garden with seating.
The bedroom features a double bed with linens, and the bathroom includes towels and toiletries. Located on the first floor, The Studio is pet-friendly upon request.

The space

PETS
Well behaved dogs are considered on an individual basis so please have a chat with us before booking if you are thinking about bringing your dog. We will ask you the size of your dog before accepting your booking. Photo evidence may be required. We will send you our pet policy before accepting the booking.

1 NIGNT STAYS
From April to September, we require a minimum stay of 2 nights. However, we are happy to accommodate 1-night stays during this period for a slightly higher rate - simply reach out to discuss availability and pricing.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay, including a two ring electric hob with oven, kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer and dishwasher.
We also provide all essential cooking utensils, pots & pans, crockery, cutlery, very sharp knives (beware!!) and glassware plus essentials such as milk + condiments for cooking.

LIVING AREA:
The Studio benefits from a cosy living space equipped a 32-inch SMART TV with Netflix.
The lounge has a sofa bed which will sleep two people.
There is free WIFI for guests to use throughout their stay and the smart TV allows you to access streaming services with ease.
We have also provided a small selection of books and games for those of you who want to switch off from the online world!

WORK SPACE:
A small desk and chair are available for guests who need a dedicated space to work, whether you're traveling for business or catching up on tasks during your stay.

BEDROOM & BATHROOM
The bedroom offers a double bed, wardrobe, and small chest of drawers, with all linens provided. If you plan to use the sofa bed, just let us know, and we’ll supply additional bedding. The bathroom includes a shower cubicle, toilet, and sink, with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided.

Note: the bedroom is not a separate room.
The Studio is 27 square metres in total.

Although The Studio can accommodate up to 4 guests with a double bed and a sofa bed, its compact size makes it better suited for 2 people or solo travellers.

OUTSIDE
You’ll have access to your own private balcony with views over fields and your own private enclosed garden. There are seating areas located on the balcony and in the garden.

PARKING & ACCESS
You’ll have your own free off-road parking directly outside The Studio.
The property is on the first floor and accessed via stairs, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

LONG STAYS
We welcome guests looking for long stays, including relocators, students on placement, remote workers, and anyone in need of a comfortable home-away-from-home. We offer a 10% discount for stays of 28 days or more.

THE LOCAL AREA
Perfect for those seeking a quiet escape with easy access to local amenities and stunning countryside.

We are located just a 15-minute drive from two charming towns, Market Drayton and Newport, both offering a variety of shops and supermarkets.

Our local village of Cheswardine has a small community shop for essentials, only a 2-minute drive or a 30-minute walk away.
The village is also home to two pubs—one serving drinks and the other offering food as well, these are both dog friendly.

For dining out, there’s a very popular restaurant just a short 6-minute drive from the property, situated right next to the canal it’s lovely in summer, dogs only allowed outside.

The area offers many stunning walks, including Bishop’s Wood, making it a perfect destination for walkers and cyclists. For fishing enthusiasts, the Shropshire Union Canal is just a short distance away and also provides excellent opportunities for paddleboarding, kayaking, and canoeing.
Additionally, the area features several golf courses and options for horse riding, catering to a wide range of outdoor interests.

Guest access

Enjoy the freedom of self-check-in/ check-out at your convenience.
Check-out is by 10 AM and check-in is after 3pm.
You have your own guest access, private parking, private garden and balcony.
No physical key is required you will be send a code for the key pad to enter 12hrs before arrival.

Other things to note

- We accept well behaved dogs on an individual basis, please have a chat with us.
- Due to the small size of The Studio we can only accept 1 medium sized dog or 2 small sized dogs.
- When you request to book please confirm the size of your dog, photographic evidence may be required. We will not accept your booking without this confirmation. Please read our pet policy before booking and confirm this to us.
- The Studio is located on the first floor, there are stairs to access the property, for this reason it may not be suitable to anyone with mobility issues.
- The bedroom is not separate from the living area. This is a studio apartment so it is all open plan.
- Early check in / late check out may be requested, there may be an extra charge for this.
- The Studio is connected to our home, however you will have access to your own private allocated parking and garden. We have two dogs and three cats ourselves which you may see wandering around.
- Please be respectful and keep noise to a minimum.
- Strictly NO SMOKING or VAPING in the property.
- Unfortunately due to its size and being on the first floor with a balcony it is not suitable for children or infants.
- We’re happy to welcome your furry friends at The Studio! Please note that while dogs are welcome, they cannot be left unattended in the property. To ensure you can fully enjoy your stay-perhaps for a night out or a special dinner-we offer a professional dog-sitting service. With over 10 years of experience running a pet care business, your dog will be in safe and loving hands.
